2 line ponderable sentences @ Sunday, September 17, 2006
And in the midst of darkness
who will answer your call

In the perfect utopia
quis custodiet ipsos custodes

At the gates of death
how will you smile and laugh and scorn it

At the depths of the ocean
how can you breathe the air

When the Grim Reaper knocks on your door
who will you mistake it for

And when death and destruction rains
where is your shelter

Driving off the edge of the cliff
where has the road gone

And when life smiles
will you be wary and suspicious

When the tides of time crash on your back
will you stay strong and unmoving

When time rolls back into the mist
will you keep the memories

When the line between sanity and insanity blurs
which will you be in

At the moment of disarray
will you find your place

At the place of temptation
will you have the courage and strength to walk away

When true is false and evil is good
where has your discernment gone

As you're falling to your doom
what goes through your mind

When you're all alone
what do you do differently

Looking into the eyes of a murderer
how do you feel?

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

intro
There's so much about life that I don't know about yet, and there's so much that God teaches me as I walk with Him everyday. This is where I record what I learn, my reflections on His revelations. My hope is that through the words you read, you hear His voice, not mine. And if it puts a smile on your face, that's an added bonus
