I wonder why some people believes a good friend must be infallible. Belief that everyone who you trust must be perfect is completely biased.

Trusting someone is completely up you person. Having a true friend means accepting the persons flaws and fallibilities, while at the same time appreciating what they have to offer. Even the a person treats you like crap, you can still trust the person.

People just aren't perfect. Its just how we were made. Nothing short of a miracle can change that.
