Sentosa. Sun, sand, sea. Im never gonna tire out from these things. Splashing around in the sea, playing dog and bone with raw chickens, playing captains ball with bananas, throwing sand at people, getting sand-shampooed, building sandcastles, burying yourself in sand, and my favorite, just sitting on the shoreline, moving with the waves, enjoying life. Today was fun indeed and I believe there are people who might have some so of deep seeded hatred towards me for... well, a lot of things. But it was a fun day I wouldnt mind reliving over.

Recently, I watched the movie The Phantom Of The Opera (i.e. the recent remake not the old English musical). A particular song was stuck in my head from the show. It was called masquerade. It got me thinking. The lyrics go something like this:
Masquerade!
Paper faces on parade . . .
Masquerade!
Hide your face,
so the world will
never find you!

Its amazing, the extent of our human control of our face muscles. We can betray our inner emotions. Its this facade we build around ourselves, maybe to protect ourselves, maybe to make others believe we are someone we are not. Stop living our lives as masquerades, and start living them as what they were meant to be.
