No Point In Getting Angry @ Friday, October 27, 2006
You know, its amazing how much anger can be created from the smallest actions.
An insulting word.
A careless kick.
A mistimed smirk.
Can start off a wonderful chain reaction which leaves you with another wonderful emotion.
Anger.

But so what about getting angry?
We all do.
Its just another state to get past
Another moment we should let Father Time take

A simple answer to defusing anger right?
Wrong.
The thing is, when we're angry, we dont WANT the anger to go away
We want the rage to continue.
We like the feeling we have

In our anger
we often do things we regret
But in that moment we perform that action
we dont care do we?
At that moment its just a form of revenge
Of getting back at the person
Vengeance, my friends
Is the bane of anger.

It consumes us.
Grows on inside of us
Like a slow moving poison
That creeps into our lives
And yet
While under the effects of this poison
we want more

My solution?
Deal with it early.
Get it out of your system.
Go do what you need to
Kick something
Scream at something
Rant your head off to a friend
Or, do what I do and blast music till your eardrums are in pieces.
Whatever you want
Just get rid of it
Fast.

Oh yea, and remember
The angry die faster.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

intro
There's so much about life that I don't know about yet, and there's so much that God teaches me as I walk with Him everyday. This is where I record what I learn, my reflections on His revelations. My hope is that through the words you read, you hear His voice, not mine. And if it puts a smile on your face, that's an added bonus
