Random/Reflections/Revelations
update @ Friday, January 26, 2007
I realize I've been lagging behind in posts. I hope all you (loyal?) readers aren't too annoyed.

Nothing much is going in my life anyway. School, home, the usual.

Some excitement yesterday though. Left my handphone on the bus in the morning. Luckily, the bus driver found it and called my home number through the handphone. Made me realize that too many times we take things for granted, assuming it'll always be there.

Nothing much else, shall write something random.

Scientists have proven walking is just a series of controlled falls. Makes you wonder if life is just like that, constant falling. And if our attempts to move around in life is to convince ourselves otherwise.

I miss you in a way that's hard to describe
the kind of way that I see you when I close my eyes

News! and other news @ Sunday, January 21, 2007
Well, its Sunday morning, another day till school begins. Let the mourning begin.

Yesterday's service was good, as usual. 2 weeks without church and sometimes you feel somethings amiss.

Fuel and buzz group was awkward to say the least.

The following dinner proved to be interesting.

I'm typing less and talking more. For better or for worse?

whirlwind of emotion indeed.

back @ Wednesday, January 17, 2007
back from my school camp

It was good

To me, its quite amazing because God showed me once again that he could move, anytime, anywhere. Because while we were at the camp, there were 1 or 2 people who actually recieved Christ. Not only that, but they're thinking of starting a prayer group for ACS(I) Which, of course, I wholly support.

Its a season to re-affirm the promises

In other news, I've come to realise that after going to school, people's mood generally degenerate. SO! Now I'm on a cheering-up mission! Onward!

Oh yea, better not forget:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEBORAH AND JARED

Wakka Makka Boom Bah @ Monday, January 08, 2007
The heart's thumping, goes insane
Inside's crazy, shortcircuited brain
Lungs are failing, breathe is drained
Not feeling as if I'm sane
The sun's out, no more rain

I open my mouth and say: hi

Tadaa, poem tastic

Sunday Morning, rain... isn't really pouring @ Sunday, January 07, 2007
As the title suggests, I'm blogging on sunday morning. In a few minutes I'm gonna be leaving for the PL launch service.

L cell yesterday was fun. Its weird to imagine thats what my L cell will be like for the rest of the year. Its even weirder, the fact that I'm sec 2. It feels weird because in some ways, we're a little like seniors.

Weird isn't it? Some people have this instinctive leadership ability that cannot be duplicated. but what people dont understand is that sometimes, they dont. They're like you and I, simple people, who are willing to put in time and effort into what they do. And like simple people, they have they're times of trouble and confusion. So they need our prayers too.

Service was good. Sitting with the sec 1s makes you realise we aren't all that different in how we acted when we first entered youth. Weird, no?

FUEL, was... hm... whats the appropriate word... entertaining. The Sec1s really acted like us, scared, freaked out. I guess deep down, aren't we all human?

Then came the massive conference. Nothing shall be said about that. The 4 know what they need to know.

its raining in my heart, because I'm missing you.

2nd day of school @ Thursday, January 04, 2007
considerably better than the first due to the following reasons:

1. No long and boring "welcome back to school" speech
2. More free periods
3. Laptop brilliance!

boooooooooooooooooooo

I'm blogging smaller and smaller posts.

I said I'd miss you and I do.

First day of >ack< school @ Wednesday, January 03, 2007
Boooooooooo.

Other than the usual back-to-school stuff, admin matters, appointing of ex co, there wasnt really alot to do on the first day.

Sadly, I finally found out the time/date for the camp. Which happens to be the 13th. Which also happens to be benn's birthday.

Boooooooooo.

Plus, that means 10 straight days of teachers

Boooooooooo.

Ah well, the first day of school was actually good.
or maybe your prayer worked.

Doomsday rears its ugly head @ Tuesday, January 02, 2007
The last day of the sweet, sweet holidays.

Ouch man, it hurts to think that school's back. Definately not looking forward to it.

School's never been a thing I've looked forward to. For all the obvious reasons. But the thing is, the amount of suckiness I'll feel from school will be in direct contrast to the happiness from the holidays. And its been a awesome holiday period. So now, I brace for the suckiness. *braces himself*

whoooooooooooooooooooo!!!
For the conversation that made my day.

2007, here I come @ Monday, January 01, 2007
So this marks my first post of the year, so lets make it a good one.

Watchnight was awesome in so many ways. Dinner at macs (again) was a taste of what its gonna be like at FUEL. I've also come to realise I can annoy sister Kassey as well as I annoy my sister, though only time will tell if thats a good thing.

Nothing much more to add, other than have a blessed new year.

Like a wolf that howls at the moonlit skies
I beseech you to remove her from my eyes
And remove from me the sweet madness of love
As the wolf howls at the skies above.

intro
There's so much about life that I don't know about yet, and there's so much that God teaches me as I walk with Him everyday. This is where I record what I learn, my reflections on His revelations. My hope is that through the words you read, you hear His voice, not mine. And if it puts a smile on your face, that's an added bonus
