saturday

woke up late
headed off to service
which was really really good
and then after that I went to have a nice chat with my leader, sis yinting
hahaha, it surprised me
but it was a good chat

afterward, come family cell thing
a farewell dinner for the yip family

sunday

family communion
first with my NEW buzz group
then with my family
I think my new buzz group is awesome cool
we are the S.E.A.L.s
Spiritually Empowered Adolescent Leaders
so cool worxzxzxzxzxzxzxz
ignore that

afterward
traditional family gathering
where I somehow managed to sprain my middle finger
yes, I don't know how either
however, now I can't bend it
which affects my typing
and also, when I clench my fist
all my fingers bend except for my middle finger
yes, bad

anyhow, last post of the year
I've kept this blog alive for the last 2 years of my life (and roughly 340+ posts)
and I have no intention of closing it down

2007 has been a great year, one of change, of renewed hope, of salvation. In my own words, "I believe in the hope that this year will not just be like the years before. It will be more than I've ever expected." (31st december 2006)

and it has been
in so many ways God has shown me that He is good
that He is above all
that so long as you place it in His hands, you don't need to worry
He gave me control over my emotions
He opened new doors for my
by His grace, I passed my chinese
in fact, by His grace alone, I have survived this year

but no,
I shall enter this new year with thanksgiving
but yet I will not look back
the things that have caused me to stumble before
the wrongs I have committed
inside my heart, I know I've been forgiven
and that settles it for me
no turning back

and I will be still
"Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today... The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."
Exodus 14:13-14

thank you God

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

intro
There's so much about life that I don't know about yet, and there's so much that God teaches me as I walk with Him everyday. This is where I record what I learn, my reflections on His revelations. My hope is that through the words you read, you hear His voice, not mine. And if it puts a smile on your face, that's an added bonus
