its been 21 days since I last posted O.o its been 17 days since I've used the internet its been 7 days since I've been home
I'M SO GLAD TO BE BACK
right, in chronological order, major events of the past three weeks
BIRTHDAY I thoroughly enjoyed being 'surprised' on my birthday :) by my very close and dear friends, benedict, haruki, ruth, eugene teo, chetwin, gavin, fang, timmy, riel, benn, abby, joelle, nathan, mel khor, abel (the last three that couldn't make it but wanted to) I really appreciated your bothering, your rushing down to make it in time, your (attempted) cover-ups, and most of all, squishing into my very small room :p
and to all the others that bothered staying up to message, call, or even facebook-wall, thank you :) your words were not forgotten or lost, but kept within the walls of my heart :) or brain.
brain's actually more right then heart hm.
anyway, I've taken to reading the Inkheart trilogy. its really quite a good book, it's very much an apt book. The whole theme of words having power seemed nice to me :) ANYWAY, point being that reading a new, long-enough new story makes me feel highly poetic, explaining the overly dramatic above few lines
WAIT, STRAYING!
CAMP
words cannot express how amazingly awesome camp was it was... a memorable experience and yes, it was so... radically different from other camps from the camps I've experienced before :) God desired, and so it happened :D I had a great time with my camp group, iOvercome! WHOO! I have to say that I'm really proud of my group :) really, really proud. I saw how you guys struggled through your problems, noticed each others flaws, but decided instead to focus on what skills you guys had. I'm really glad that you guys worked together as a team :) iOvercome, Rad(i)cal camp 2008 Mei Yan Christal Rui Han Ryan Aaron Fredrick Me Chelsea Ruth Berlin Michele (or is it two l's?) Cheryl Sister Susie And of course, our youngest member, Joey! Haha, Is till remember when we were on the bus on the way there, thinking up cheers then suddenly joey goes "I know I know I know!" rest of us: "yes joey?" joey: "I overcome, you overcome, we sit on your head!"
hahahahahaha, I laughed so hard at that moment my cheeks hurt. "Radical Christians, We have Overcome!" (WHOOOOOO!) and rui han wanted to add "we're better then you" hmmmm, alot funnier the way he says it
IWCP hahaha, my hair got sprayed with the red and green hairsprays so much I was scrubbing my scalp in the shower for half-an-hour but nevertheless, God was good :) I do believe many seeds were sown and when the time is right, they might just bear fruit ;) props to our devoted planning committee :D and WHY DOES SHAUNICE HAVE SO MANY RETARDED PHOTOS OF ME
KL spent time there with my mum's cell group's families it was actually quite fun :) tested my tolerance for small kids that annoy not small, small kids, those are cute. more like the annoying kind.
I ate alot. every night I had a food baby you know, when you eat so much your stomach expands and you feel like you're pregnant? not that I'll ever know how that feels yep, I'm quite sure I never want to know how that feels
sadly, no, I didn't gain weight I'm beginning to wonder if its actually humanly possible too dang skinny >.<
ANYWAY, I like small cute kids
... I sound pedophilic
CAMERON HIGHLANDS a fun time with my parent's usual group of families its so strange when i think about it. my mum and dad have had these gatherings with these group of friends for the past 22 years and they were the first couple to get married so they saw all the others through courtship, engagements, marriage, and having kids and they hope that their friendship will last between their kids too I think it'd be pretty funny if it did. anyway, thanks to all that messaged me a Merry Christmas while I was away
ooo yes, and a belated Blessed Christmas to all :)
anyway, I wasn't feeling too good thursday night friday morning I had a horrendous sore throat and headache afternoon I ran a 38 degree fever it was really funny, because at first the thermometer jumped from 35 to 36, then from 36 it crawled slowly, degree by degree, till it was at 37.9 two hours later, it went up to 39 degrees
let me say first that getting sick sucks. Getting sick in 15 degree weather really, really sucks.
anyway, I'm glad that God's healing hand was there, and by this morning I woke up feeling great :D God is good :)
note to self: get/make a new blogskin do a nostalgic post! thus is the new year tradition
on the drive down from cameron ,the clouds are really, really nice especially early in the morning, because at that time the clouds have spent the night forming I wonder if God spends His free time painting with clouds
He reminded me of this old song
Just one word, the world came alive Just one touch, You brought sight to the blind Just one moment in Your presence I am changed
Rivers in the desert places Mercy and grace that never ceases Lord of all, I stand in awe I stand in awe
All things are possible with you All things are possible with you My Lord All things are possible
a timely reminder, wouldn't you say? :)

good morning world slightly delirious too much sugar tube of candy three packets of cuttlefish fifteen rounds of Uno three scripts bad puns (don't fight with a reindeer, those guys are SLEIGH-ers) reading about world war one (huge zeppelins FTW) maid's strange malay music in background whoop-whoop of overhead fans
my mind may be slightly wocked right now buuuuut God now = God yesterday = God today = God tomorrow equal unconditional love
the gift of grace is free if we'd only open it more often
Mark 9:17-26 "'Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.'
"O unbelieving generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me."
So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
Jesus asked the boy's father, "How long has he been like this?"
"From childhood," he answered. "It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."
"'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."
Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"
When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil spirit. "You deaf and mute spirit," he said, "I command you, come out of him and never enter him again."
The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out."
pls notice bold+underline
"I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief" I'm just drawn towards anything with the word 'overcome' in it 1st John 5:4 "for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world" all authority, every victory, is His :D
so here's the good news for your today and your tomorrow Jesus = win!
excuse strange english, hour is late
good night world

YES, THAT ONE did you know...? When the Proboscis Monkey gets agitated or enraged, his nose FILLS WITH BLOOD so it becomes pink and poofy PINK AND POOFY NOSE heh anyway, its not all fun and games from an estimate in 2006, there are less than 1000 of these in the wild. D: so DON'T HUNT BIG NOSED MONKEYS be a good steward of the Earth :D
anyway, that's random fact done with what's next RIGHT, SONG
Counting on God by Desperation Band
lyrics are pre-embedded hahaha, yes yes, into desperation band right now another song I heard at miracle rally ANYWAY apparently they've been singing this song in DL and its a good song :D
joy unspeakable that won't go away :D I always find it funny when God re-teaches lessons I think I've already learnt and the way that He always surprises me in new ways hahahaha, I'm a fool for Christ :D even if that means head-bobbing (one step below head-banging) on the train while listening to songs like these cause sometimes the praise just bubbles up :p
just enough strength to live for today so I never have to worry what tomorrow will bring my faith is on solid rock I am counting on God :D
heh time to take my own advice "take care of yourself take care of your relationship with God"
people wonder why I blog about stuff God speaks to me about I think its like... throwing seeds into the wind I believe what God speaks to me about can be a blessing to others and I believe He can guide people to read what He desires for them to read so, yea :D
I'm looking forward to next year quote Rev. Benard Blessing "God made your feet point forward for a reason!" heh
learning to jump into God's love His love that catches and soothes hurts :)

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
intro
There's so much about life that I don't know about yet, and there's so much that God
teaches me as I walk with Him everyday. This is where I record what I learn, my
reflections on His revelations. My hope is that through the words you read, you hear
His voice, not mine. And if it puts a smile on your face, that's an added bonus
