heh, I slept 13 hours last night
it seems to be the average amount of sleep I get every friday night :p

anyway, today is Valentine's Day :D
and what Valentine's Day is, in essence, is a celebration of love :)
which I believe is worthy to be celebrated
well, God is love right?
and God existed even before things existed (Whoa, slight mind bend)
so therefore love was there too :D
hah, logic win!

anyway, my personal belief is that everyday should be a celebration of love,
but there's nothing like the whole world coming together to celebrate love :D

Exodus 15:13
"In your unfailing love you will lead
the people you have redeemed.
In your strength you will guide them
to your holy dwelling. "

Exodus 34:5-7
"5 Then the LORD came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the LORD. 6 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin."

the second bit's from one of my most favourite passages in the bible
it's the part where Moses asks for God to reveal His glory to him
and God tells Moses to go hide behind a rock, and He'll let Moses see the back of His glory
and when His glory comes, there comes a proclamation of who God is
"the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness"

yea, I love my God more than these :)

do something nice for the one who has already done the nicest thing
take some time out of your day today and tell God you love Him :)

after all, it IS a celebration of love :D
