Lion King reflections @ Saturday, August 22, 2009
so, I'm watching The Lion King.
And you know that part near the start, when they're singing the circle of life
and there's this bit where King Mufasa's standing on Pride Rock with the music blaring in the background
he looks super cool. It's a lion. Posing. That's pretty awesome.
But the next part, when Zazu approaches Mufasa and bows
there's just something about it
it just reminds me so much about the heart of God.
Zazu bows, with reverence and love
and Mufasa acknowledges it with a nod and a smile
and it's just so
God.

It's that expression that speaks equally of power and of love
and it's... well, pretty awesome.
heh.
#ILoveMyGod.

I actually think there are a whole bunch of things about The Lion King that I love
shall blog about them sometime

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

intro
There's so much about life that I don't know about yet, and there's so much that God teaches me as I walk with Him everyday. This is where I record what I learn, my reflections on His revelations. My hope is that through the words you read, you hear His voice, not mine. And if it puts a smile on your face, that's an added bonus

talk it out
